Anachronisms

An anachronism is an item or element that is out of its appropriate historical context, not belonging to its time period. Many critics argue that the Book of Mormon is filled with anachronisms, referring to items that they claim did not exist during the time period described in the Book of Mormon. Although some anachronisms still exist, 83% of the alleged anachronisms pointed out by critics have been verified through new archaeological findings over time.  Unfortunately, LDS Critics, otherwise known as Anti-Mormons, typically ignore those facts hoping to cause a faith crisis so they can then solicit that person for money.  Please see the "LDS Critics" page on this website.
